This immersive Ocean Resin Art Workshop invites you to design your own ocean-inspired art piece or serving board using professional-grade resin and pigments.
What to Expect
At Our Art Workshops
Our small group classes offer close, individualized attention and instruction to guide you through all the steps in creating your masterpiece! In our 1.5-2 hour, step-by-step class, you’ll learn the following techniques – all while enjoying traditional Hawaiian Pupu’s (appetizers) and island drinks!
Select Your Board*
Your board, tray, ornaments and more will depend on the class you’ve booked. For our standard Charcuterie Board class, each guest chooses one premium base from two beautiful options: Acacia Handle-Style Serving Board or Totally Bamboo Rectangular Board.
We offer upgrades to other specialty shapes (such as surfboards, turtles, pineapples, and trays) for an additional cost, subject to availability.
Prep For The Mess
We provide gloves, aprons, and all the other equipment needed. Your instructor will go over all the tools and materials to familiarize yourself with them before starting the process.
Helpful Tip
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint or resin on. If you have long hair, bring a hair tie, and if you use reading or close-up glasses, be sure to bring those too — you’ll be working on fine details up close.
Guided Resin Techniques
You’ll be guided through each step of the process of creating your masterpiece, including:
- Prepping your board through cleaning, taping, and leveling
- Measuring, mixing, and pouring the resin
- Selecting and blending colors
- Marbling and lacing techniques to get the water and wave effects
Add Your Unique Touch
Use the techniques we show you to create your personalized vision of the ocean! Select your choice of color blends, wave shapes, and level of detail. We provide everything you will need to personalize with added touches, including: sand, shells, crushed glass, and more. Guests are also welcome to bring anything special they would like to add!
And Now We Wait! 18-24 Hours.
After the 1.5-2 hour Ocean Resin Art Workshop, your custom piece(s) will need to stay with us to fully cure and set for 18-24 hours. You can:
- Arrange a convenient pick-up day/time with your instructor. We work around your schedule for pick up.
- OR opt for local delivery or shipping services (for an additional fee).
Once your piece is fully cured, we take extra care with the finishing touches. Your board is cleaned, oiled, and carefully packaged to protect the resin and nourish the wood. Our careful packaging makes it suitcase-friendly and travel-ready. Whether you’re picking it up or having it shipped, your one-of-a-kind Maui souvenir will be ready to take home and treasure. 💙

Your board, tray, ornaments or other art surface will depend on the class you’ve booked. See specific classes for details. Specialty board shapes are available as an upgrade for an additional cost.
All Materials & Tools
We provide personal protective equipment such as aprons and gloves, as well as all materials needed including non-toxic epoxy resin, paint colors, shells, sand, gold flakes, and more. You can also bring your own special items to individualize your piece!
Detailed Instructions & Demonstration
You will be guided by our instructor through each step of the process with clear instructions and individual attention. You’ll learn how to make the perfect wave lacing for your unique art piece.
Island Refreshments and Snacks!
For your enjoyment during our art workshops, we will provide Pupu’s (small Hawaiian appetizers / snacks) and refreshing, non-alcoholic island beverages! Attendees may bring their own alcoholic beverages if desired.

Ocean-Inspired Charcuterie Board: Resin Art Workshop
Create your very own Maui masterpiece a tropical island setting with this hands-on workshop.
